Windows Operating System
“Windows 10 Level 1” will teach you how to master the Windows 10 operating system. Discover Windows applications, terminology, and Start Menu functions as well as operational basics. Students should have access to the Windows 10 operating system.
“Windows 10 Level 1” will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays, Feb. 20-Mar. 29 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The cost is $75 plus the cost of the text and flash drive.
“Social Media Basics” will put you in the driver’s seat of your social media campaign. Learn the importance of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and more. Explore the potential for growing your business, expanding your customer base, and making more money through social media marketing. Feel free to bring your laptop or iPad to class. Anyone having an interest in expanding his or her social media knowledge is welcome. Good working knowledge of the Internet is required.
“Social Media Basics” will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays, Feb. 12-Mar. 21 from 4-6 p.m. The cost is $75.
Is your digital camera stuck on auto? Are you having a hard time embracing the user manual? If so, the easy-going, hands-on workshop, “Getting to Know Your Digital Camera in a Day,” is for you! Enjoy a day at SCC as you learn how to use your digital camera and transform a dull snapshot into an artistic image. Lectures and lively discussions will be followed by fieldwork and friendly photo critiques.
“Getting to Know Your Digital Camera in a Day,” will be held on Friday, Feb. 2 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. The cost is $75.
Take your photography to the next level in the class, “Understanding the Exposure Triangle.” Learn how to understand Shutter Speed, Aperture, and ISO and how to shoot in manual mode in this easy-going, hands-on workshop. Produce images with the “WOW” factor using the basics of composition.
“Understanding the Exposure Triangle” will be held Friday, Feb. 16 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. The cost is $75.
