Microsoft Office Certification Courses
“Excel 2016” will prepare you for the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification exam. Engage in hands-on learning as you apply learned concepts creating relevant, mock work examples. This class will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays, Jan. 23-Apr. 10 from 6-9 p.m. The cost is $185 plus the cost of the text.
Uncover the essential tools of “Outlook” and organize your life by working with email, organizing contacts, managing folders, calendars, notes, tasks and mobile device integration. This class will be held on Fridays, Jan. 19-Mar. 9 from 9 a.m.-Noon. The cost is $75 plus the cost of the text.
QuickBooks Certification Courses
The “QuickBooks Online” course will prepare you for the certification exam. Discover QuickBooks online – a full coverage of Intuit’s cloud-based software application. Prepare for the workplace by working on two full-length projects mimicking real-world experiences. Windows 10 operating system experience, knowledge of accounting principles, and using the Internet are required before enrolling. This is not an online class; it is in a classroom but teaches cloud-based Quickbooks.

Windows Operating System
“Windows 10 Level 1” will teach you how to master the Windows 10 operating system. Discover Windows applications, terminology, and Start Menu functions as well as operational basics. Students should have access to the Windows 10 operating system. This class will be held Mondays and Thursdays, Jan. 22-Mar. 1 from 9-11 a.m. The cost is $75 plus the cost of the text and flash drive.
Apple Macintosh Operating System and iPad
“OS X Sierra Level 1” Explore, understand and control the operating system of the Apple Macintosh computer including numerous built-in applications, called apps. Learn to manage the filing system for organizing and finding computer generated folders and files. A flash drive 8 GB or larger is required.The classes will be on Mondays and Wednesdays, Jan. 22-Feb. 28 from 1-3 p.m. The cost is $75.
Learn to maximize your productivity using many of the applications found on your iPad in the course, “iPad Basics.” Learn about Contacts, Mail, Messages, Calendar, Camera, as well as Notes, Reminders, Safari, and others. Also included is downloading and installing apps from the App Store. Students must bring their iPad or iPhone to class with the latest operating system (iOS) installed. The class will meet Mondays and Wednesdays, Jan. 22-Feb. 28 from 10 a.m.-Noon. The cost is $75.
“Photo Editing Using Photoshop Elements 15 Part 1” will go over what’s new in Elements 15. Create catalogs and albums, import and organize photos, perform basic editing in the Organizer, as well as how to use the Editor’s Quick and Guided modes. Time permitting, you will also learn the basics of using layers for combining and correcting photos and adding text and graphics. A flash drive 8GB or larger is recommended. A good working knowledge of computers, using a mouse or pen tablet, and file management are required.
