The Sandhills Community College Hoke Center is responding to growing needs in the Raeford area by offering more classes at the center during fall semester. The following classes are scheduled to begin in November.
“CPR for Healthcare Providers” is a new offering at the Sandhills Hoke Center. Students will gain the skills needed to possibly save a life. This is the ideal class for healthcare professionals who need to know how to perform CPR, as well as other lifesaving skills in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings.
“CPR for Healthcare Providers” will be held Wednesday, Nov. 29 from 6-10 p.m. The cost including the card is $54.
A “Notary Public” is officially authorized to witness signatures on legal documents, collect sworn statements, and administer oaths. Participants must have a high school diploma or GED and no felony convictions.
“Notary Public” will be held Nov. 7 and 9 from 5:30-9 p.m. The cost is $75.
Registering for Classes
Seats are still available for these Continuing Education courses. Registration can be made by cash or check at the Hoke Center at 1110 E. Central Avenue in Raeford or carried out by phone with a credit card at (910) 695-3980. Registration hours are Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Fridays 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
