Microsoft Office Fast Courses
“Word Levels 1, 2 & 3 Fast Course” will teach students a variety of concepts and skills to be productive using Microsoft Word 2016. Learn to use tables, shapes, word art and text boxes. Students will also learn to create a business report arranging text in columns, headers, and footers, mail merge, create a newsletter, share and secure documents, and how to integrate Word with Excel, Power Point, and the Web. A flash drive 8GB or larger is required.
“Word Levels 1, 2 & 3 Fast Course” will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Sept. 12-28. There are two times offered, 1-4 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. The cost is $75 plus the cost of the text.
Windows Operating System
“Windows 10 Level 3” will quickly review the basics and continue with a deeper look into Windows 10. The Ribbon will be explored along with other applications. This class is designed to promote better productivity skills. The prerequisite for this class is Windows 10 Level 2 or prior experience. A flash drive 8GB or larger is required.
“Windows 10 Level 3” will be held Sept. 15-Nov. 3 on Fridays from 9-Noon. The cost is $75.
“Getting to Know Your Digital Camera in a Day” is an easy-going, hands-on workshop to teach students how to use their digital camera and transform a dull snapshot into an artistic image. Lectures and lively discussions will be followed by field work and friendly photo critiques.
“Getting to Know Your Digital Camera in a Day” will be held Friday, Sept. 8 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. The cost is $75.
“Understanding the Exposure Triangle” will teach students Shutter Speed, Aperture, and ISO. Students will learn how to shoot on manual mode in this easy-going, hands-on workshop. In addition, students
will also learn the basics of composition and how to produce images with the “WOW!” factor.
“Understanding the Exposure Triangle” will be held Friday, Sept. 15 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. The cost is $75.
