Associate in Fine Arts in Art at SCC

An Associate in Fine Arts in Art degree from Sandhills Community College is designed to prepare students to transfer to a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree program at a senior college or university.

Students receive a foundation in color, design, drawing and fundamentals of studio techniques. A portfolio of work that is strong enough to allow graduates to continue their work and begin an area of concentration at a senior transfer institution is one of the goals of the program.
