New Class Alert!
According to zenindustries.com, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics forecasts technician jobs in the HVAC industry have a potential growth rate as high as 34 percent, triple the national average. Sandhills Community College rises to meet that challenge with its upcoming fall offering of HVAC – Heating and Air Conditioning.

The ability to teach these classes developed from a collaboration with the Moore County Home Builder’s Association where the August class will be held. Lori Degre, director of Career Training at Sandhills Community College says that Matt Bialer, owner of the local Temp Control, will be the instructor for the course beginning August 15 and running through May 15. This course will prepare participants for the NATE North American Technician Excellence certification. For more information, contact Lori Degre at degrel@sandhills.edu or (910) 695-3939.
