Instructor Spotlight, Angela McArdle

Screen Shot 2017-05-08 at 1.50.40 PM.pngArchaeologist Angela McArdle teaches General Anthropology and Archaeology at Sandhills. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Duke University and a Master of Arts in Archaeology from Cornell University.

Angela was born in Anchorage, Alaska but considers herself a Southern Pines native having moved here when she was five-years-old. Since graduating from Pinecrest, she has worked in deserts, jungles, and forests throughout the US, Mexico, Guatemala and Germany.

Angela moved back to her hometown in 2015 when her Army husband was stationed at Fort Bragg.
