The team, comprised of landscape professional and educators, spent three days visiting the campus meeting with faculty, college administrators, past graduates of the program, advisory board of landscape gardening program and current students. Praise received from the team included, “the program has a long history of success and has tremendous support of the local community, industry, and alumni. Your campus is beautiful and the program’s facilities are some of the finest in the country and are a source of pride for the college and community.”

This reaccreditation occurs every seven years. The Landscape Gardening Department at Sandhills Community College is one of only 20 Colleges across the country whose Landscape and Gardening program is fully accredited–this includes two and four year colleges. Sandhills Community College is the only College in North Carolina fully accredited by NALP.
