Eight years ago, Jennifer Dail came to Sandhills to work as an Assistant to the Director of Student Services. When a position arose a year later in the Foundation Office, Jennifer applied to become the Director of Donor Relations. She has been in that position ever since.
“There is no typical day for me,” Jennifer says. “Every single day is different, which is why I love my job. A large portion of my job responsibilities involve planning special events. I work on our annual golf tournament, scholarship dinners, all of our donor recognition events, as well as departmental fund-raisers we have on campus.
“Sandhills Community College is such a special place. We have a beautiful campus, thanks to our amazing folks in the physical plant. The employees at Sandhills are appreciated and respected which creates the family atmosphere you so often hear about.”
Jennifer has two daughters, one dog, one rabbit and a fish. “My home is a busy place,” she says with a laugh. “When I am not at work, I am usually running around town taking my girls from one event or practice to another.”
